My media planning professor tasked our class with creating a theoretical RFP for the Austin-based restaurant, Hoover’s Cooking. In this hypothetical project, Hoover’s Cooking was planning to open a second location in downtown Atlanta. I worked with five other team members to draft and pitch a consumer-centric, comprehensive media campaign that would establish Hoover’s Cooking as an Atlanta favorite.
My team planned this year-long campaign with a $75,000 budget and utilized tools like Mintel, SRDS, Kantar and MRI to determine a target market and geographic profile.
Personally, I contributed to the development of the communication platform, the influencer marketing strategy and the main KPIs and strategies needed to meet our goals. I also worked with two team members to plan the media schedule and flights. Further, I solely developed all of the experiential activations and volunteer efforts, wrote the majority of the written content and edited the entire RFP.
